  • From Concept to Clinic: SVINnovation goes beyond the pitch itself — offering a practical roadmap for what comes next. Attendees gain insight into IP protection, FDA and regulatory pathways, market strategy, and the real steps required to move an idea into practice.

SVINnovation Entry Requirements:

  • Intellectual Property (IP) Protection: Must have filed a provisional patent application or possess existing intellectual property rights
  • Business Plan / Pitch Deck: Must submit a detailed business plan outlining the company's mission, product roadmap, market analysis, and non-formal financial projections
  • Regulatory Pathway: Must demonstrate a clear understanding of the regulatory pathway for their medical device (e.g., MDR/CE or FDA approval process)
  • Team Composition: Must have a qualified and experienced team, including at least one member with expertise in medical device development
  • Clinical Validation: Must have a plan for clinical validation, including partnerships with medical professionals or institutions or CRO’s
  • Financial Stability: Must show capability of initial funding or financial stability to support ongoing development and operations
