Accelerate innovative therapies, devices, and models of care through collaborations led by the Research and Mission Thrombectomy Committees with industry, academia, health systems, and global partners.

Educate

Advance high-quality education that enhances knowledge and skills and supports a diverse, multidisciplinary workforce in vascular and interventional neurosciences across all career stages.

Deliver and integrated, premier educational portfolio across in-person, virtual and on-demand formats, including SVIN University, Boot Camp, SVINutes, Virtual Stroke Academy, WebNiR, and webinars to advance knowledge, skills, and thought leadership.
Expand virtual proctoring and training to enhance procedural skills and professional development.
Drive engagement across all career stages through high-impact educational programming.
Amplify educational impact through coordinated digital dissemination and communication.
Promote innovation in education and clinical practice through artificial intelligence, simulation, digital health, and virtual training initiatives supported by the Education, Research, and WebNiR Committees.

Advocate

Amplify the voice of Vascular and Interventional Neuroscience to advance patient access, shape health policy, secure professional recognition, and champion cerebrovascular health equity globally.

Advance policies and systems that expand timely and equitable access to advanced stroke and cerebrovascular care through Mission Thrombectomy and strategic international partnerships.
Engage policymakers and payers to protect and expand reimbursement and coverage for neurointerventional procedures.
Represent and strengthen the professional identity and recognition of vascular and interventional neuroscientists through engagement with accreditation bodies, certifying boards, and legislative stakeholders.
Increase public and patient stroke awareness through coordinated campaigns that extend beyond symptom recognition to treatment access and thrombectomy eligibility and importance of systems of care.
Build durable advocacy capacity through dedicated expertise, strategic coalitions, cross-society collaboration, and sustained national and global engagement.
