How the Presentations Work

This year’s program features a variety of presentation formats to showcase the latest research and innovations. Presentations are organized into the following categories:

Breakout Sessions – Thematic sessions featuring invited speakers and panel discussions on specialized topics.

Platform/Oral Abstracts – Selected abstracts presented as short, timed talks within dedicated platform/oral presentation sessions.

Printed Posters – Traditional poster displays available for viewing in the Exhibit Hall

Moderated Posters – Professor Rounds – Selected posters accompanied by brief, scheduled presentations and discussions with professors located in the Exhibit Hall

E-Posters – Digital versions of posters available on the Virtual Meeting Site only to all attendees.

General Guidelines

SVIN requires that all of its presenters comply with the ACCME Standards of Commercial Support of CME. Disclose any RELEVANT financial interest or relationship that you and/or your spouse may have with any commercial supporter of the activity or the manufacturer(s) of any commercial interest that is discussed as part of your session. ACCME definition of relevant relationship: relationships with a commercial interest (rights, consulting fee, honoraria, ownership in stock, etc.) IF the products or services of the commercial interest are related to the content of the educational activity that you are presenting.

Withdrawing An Abstract:

It is SVIN’s expectation that all accepted abstracts will, under all usual circumstances, be presented at the meeting. If the presenting author is unable to present an abstract, a co-author is eligible to present on their behalf. Failure to present an accepted abstract may cause the author(s) to be ineligible for abstract submission at next year’s annual meeting.

To request withdrawal of an abstract prior to the submission deadline, please withdraw directly in the system.

Following the submission deadline, all withdrawal requests must be requested in writing to the SVIN Speaker Team at abstracts@svin.org. The final date to request a withdrawal will be October 5, 2026.

Annual Meeting Hotel Reservations:

Please visit our Annual Meeting hotel page or contact the Resorts World Las Vegas directly at 702-676-7000.  All guestroom reservations must be received no later than October 26, 2026.
