SVIN Mission Thrombectomy #HangInThereChallenge
20 Years. 20 Days. One Mission.
Starting October 29, World Stroke Day, SVIN is counting down 20 days to our 20th Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, with a challenge that reflects the heart of our work.

Why Do We Hang In There? Because Our Patients Do.
We hang in there for every stroke survivor fighting to recover, every family holding on to hope, and every patient who deserves a second chance. We stand by our patients through their most difficult moments and throughout their journey to recovery.
This is why we do what we do. This is SVIN Mission Thrombectomy.
How to Participate
- Hang. Safely hang from a pull-up bar for 20 or 40 seconds. The 20 seconds honors SVIN’s 20th anniversary. The 40 seconds reflects that someone in the U.S. has a stroke about every 40 seconds.
- Record and share your video. Use #HangInThereChallenge #SVINMissionThrombectomy #SVIN26 and tag @svinsociety.
- Challenge three friends, colleagues, or family members to keep the movement growing.
- Support the mission. Donate in honor of a survivor, in memory of a loved one, or in recognition of a mentor. If you can’t take part in the physical challenge, or prefer not to, a taxable donation is a powerful way to show your support.
Make a Difference
Make your donation in honor of a stroke survivor, in memory of someone lost to stroke, or in recognition of a mentor who inspired your career in stroke or neurointervention.
