How do I register for the meeting?

Meeting registration is available at www.svin.org/2020register. Attendees must create a FREE svin.org profile in order to register.

 

What is the cost of registration?

What are the dates of the 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting?

The SVIN 2020 Annual Meeting will host (4) dates of live content, which will take place from November 18 – November 21, 2020. Each morning will begin at 10:00 AM ET. On-demand content will be available November 21-28, 2020 to registered attendees.

 

I want to submit an abstract, what are my next steps?

Information on abstract submission can be found at www.svin.org/2020annualmeeting. The deadline for submitting abstracts is September 7, 2020.

 

Will sessions be available after the meeting is over?

All sessions (live and on-demand) will be available 1 month AFTER the meeting to registered attendees. Log into your account at www.svin.org to access content.

 

How do I know if I am eligible for a discount to the meeting?

All SVIN members receive discounted registration, which is automatically available during the registration process if your dues are up to date. World Bank A & B countries receive discounts as well. For a full list of countries visit https://www.svin.org/files/World_Bank_A_B_Pricing.pdf

When will I receive my CME hours after the meeting?

After filling out an evaluation and claiming CME, a certificate will be e-mailed to you directly. Our CME provider will report your credits to the medical board to ensure you receive credits. If you have any questions about reporting – please reach out to our CME provider directly - Trish Brignoni at tbrignoni@akhcme.com.

 

Am I eligible to claim CME for attending the meeting?

Yes, all REGISTERED attendees will be submitted to our CME provider and eligible to claim CME. Attendees will be able to claim CME after the meeting concludes and on-demand sessions are available.

 

I'm a fellow, do I have to attend the Fellows Course?

All fellows-in-training are encouraged to attend the virtual fellows course on Saturday, November 21, 2020. All fellow-in-training MEMBERS are REQUIRED to attend, in exchange for their complimentary registration, and to receive access to on-demand content.

 

If I miss a session, can I view it later?

Live content will be aired during the specified time each day. Attendees will need to wait one month after the meeting to access any missed live sessions.

 

I don't see my name when attempting to claim CME, what should I do?

Attendees that register after November 15, 2020 should allow up to 7 business days for their name to appear when claiming CME.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Attendees who wish to cancel their registration should submit a written request to meetings@svin.org be September 30, 2020. Cancellation requests after this date will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. 

 

Do I need to be a member of SVIN to register for the Virtual Annual Meeting?

No, SVIN welcomes all attendees, regardless of membership status, however, additional benefits and discounts are given to SVIN members. Visit www.svin.org/membershipinformation to become a member and learn more about our benefits.
