The Department of Neurology of the Watson Clinic is seeking one or two full time neurologists with formal Neurointerventional [endovascular] and Neurointensive training and experience to establish and direct state of the art full Neurointerventional services, function as Neurointensivist/Neurologist consultants and participate in our acute stroke center inpatient service presently manned by five non-interventional neurologists and five interventional radiologists.
We are a 200+ physician multispecialty clinic referring patients to a busy 850 bed hospital, Lakeland Regional Medical Center, in West Central Florida. This hospital has 4 adult ICU’s, a level 2 trauma center and a very large ER service with MRI+D/P, MRA, CT perfusion and CTA in the ER. Biplane arteriographic capability is included in the immediate strategic hospital plans.
Candidates who are presently or are on tract to be board certified in Neurology and Neurointensive and/or Vascular Neurology are preferred.
