| The Texas Stroke Institute is a comprehensive system of stroke care including 11 hospitals of the HCA North Texas Division (www.hcanorthtexas.com) in the Dallas- Fort Worth Metroplex. The Texas Stroke Institute is committed to providing cutting-edge high-quality primary and comprehensive stroke care thereby improving the overall treatment rates as well as outcomes for patients with brain-attacks in the Stroke belt. Herewith enclosed is a brochure that gives an overview of the Texas Stroke Institute.
I am pleased to inform you that the Texas Stroke Institute is offering a Two-year fellowship in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology (ESN)/ Interventional Neurology (non-ACGME) starting July 2010. There will be two positions every year starting July 2010. We are seeking applications from candidates who will be completing their Vascular Neurology/Critical Care Neurology training for the one remaining fellowship position starting July 2010 and for the two open fellowship positions starting July 2011.
The Texas Stroke Institute is also expanding the Neurocritical care units that have been developed. We are seeking applications from candidates who are completing or have completed their Vascular Neurology/Critical Care Neurology training for a Neurocritical Care Staff position starting July 2010. Candidates who will be completing their training in 2011 are also welcome to apply. We are seeking candidates who have an interest in program development, training fellows, and being part of cutting-edge research.
Interested candidates can send us a copy of their CV and clearly mention whether they would like to be considered for the ESN/ Interventional Neurology Fellowship or the Neurocritical Care Staff position for 2010 or 2011. In addition, if any candidates are planning to attend the International Stroke Conference (ISC) at San Antonio, TX later this month, we would be happy to meet with them in person during the ISC 2010 conference. |
